Poster Design

Overview:
As part of my university's mentoring program, I designed this promotional poster for a special event during Sustainability Week. The event was a Plastic Reuse Workshop organized by student mentors to encourage creative and practical solutions for reusing plastic waste. The goal was to raise awareness about sustainability and inspire students to think innovatively about plastic reuse.

Purpose:
The poster aimed to attract students to the event by clearly communicating the theme, time, and location, while visually reinforcing the sustainability message through impactful imagery and clean design.

Tools Used:

  • Adobe Illustrator: for layout and typography

  • Adobe Photoshop: for image editing and composition

  • Canva: for initial brainstorming and concept mockups

Design Choices:

  • A light blue gradient background to evoke cleanliness and environmental calmness

  • Bold, modern typography to draw attention and communicate urgency

  • Realistic images of plastic items to visually connect with the theme of reuse

  • Structured layout to ensure clarity of event details

This project helped me develop visual communication skills for cause-based design and taught me how to combine aesthetics with information effectively.

Overview:
The Small Graphic Form exhibition was a curated event dedicated to showcasing traditional printmaking techniques such as linocut, mezzotint, and aquatint. The exhibition aimed to celebrate the art of manual printing and the richness of small-format graphic expression.

My Role:
I was responsible for the visual identity and spatial communication design across the event. This included:

  • Designing the main poster, billboard, and event signage

Eco Brochure

Overview:
This project involved designing an eco-themed brochure focused on the urgent topic of climate change. The aim was to educate, inform, and engage readers by presenting the causes, impacts, and possible solutions to the climate crisis in a visually compelling and accessible way.

Design Concept:
The visual direction was guided by the desire to create a calm yet serious tone. I chose a light blue background to represent the earth’s natural elements—sky, air, and water—while also creating a clean and breathable layout. The design combines simple illustrations, iconography, and typographic hierarchy to make the content easy to follow and emotionally resonant.

Content Structure:
The brochure is divided into sections highlighting:

  • Key problems such as rising temperatures, pollution, and deforestation

  • Real-world impacts like melting glaciers and extreme weather

  • Actionable solutions including renewable energy, waste reduction, and personal lifestyle changes

Each section uses visual cues to support the message and guide the reader naturally through the information.

Message:
The goal was not only to inform but to inspire readers to think critically about the environment and their role in protecting it. The brochure encourages small, practical steps that can contribute to a larger global impact.

Tools Used:
Designed using Adobe Illustrator for layout and illustrations, and Photoshop for image editing and composition.

Mural Design for Children’s Sports Room

Overview:
This mural was created for a children’s table tennis room, with the message that growth and progress matter more than just winning. The design visually guides viewers through the stages of improvement in the game—from the first paddle swing to scoring a point and finally earning a golden trophy.

Design Concept:
One wall features a minimal outline of a child in motion, symbolizing personal development through play. The second wall uses simplified game objects—paddles, ball, and directional elements—to represent focus, planning, and persistence. The clean, minimal style was chosen to engage young viewers while delivering a deeper motivational message.

Message:
The mural encourages kids to value practice, focus, and self-improvement—showing that becoming better every day is the real prize.

Tools Used:
Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop were used for sketching, composition, and final design.

Conceptual Mural Design

Overview:
This mural was inspired by a simple pathway that sparked a deeper reflection on the human journey through life. What seemed like an ordinary wall became a canvas for storytelling—illustrating life’s key stages through minimal and symbolic visuals.

Design Concept:
Using a series of clean, minimal illustrations, the mural guides the viewer through the stages of life—from childhood and education, to marriage, parenthood, and ultimately, old age and death. Each figure represents a milestone, forming a quiet narrative that invites reflection.

Message:
“The Way of Life” serves as a gentle reminder of life’s brevity, encouraging viewers to appreciate every step of their journey. It’s a visual meditation on growth, time, and the importance of presence.

Tools Used:
Designed using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for illustration and composition.

Theme: Homelessness Awareness
Tools Used: Adobe Illustrator (chalk brush), Photoshop (lighting, composition), Photography

Overview:
This campaign raises awareness about homelessness by illustrating how public spaces become makeshift homes. The central visual—a park bench surrounded by chalk-drawn furniture—symbolizes the fragile and imagined nature of shelter for many unhoused people. The slogan “Home should not be imaginary” challenges the viewer to reflect on housing as a basic human right.

Design Approach:
Using Illustrator’s chalk brush, I created hand-drawn elements like rugs and lamps to represent an imaginary home. These drawings, combined with real photography and subtle lighting in Photoshop, create a surreal but grounded visual narrative.

Purpose:
The goal is to spark empathy and bring visibility to a crisis often overlooked. By blending reality with childlike imagination, the campaign highlights how a safe home remains out of reach for too many.
